Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.

Ed Allan Lindain practices immigration and family law In Southern California and was a Professor of Law at the Abraham Lincoln University in Los Angeles, California.  He has been a resource speaker in numerous seminars and panel discussions about immigration and the defense of immigrant rights and human rights. He is also an active member of the Asian-American communities.

Established in 1955, the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation support the research of the American Bar Foundation through their annual contributions and sponsor seminars and events of direct relevance to the legal profession. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.

The State Bar of California program in certifying legal specialists is a California Supreme Court method of certifying attorneys as specialist in eleven specialty areas of law: Admiralty & Maritime Law; Appellate Law; Bankruptcy Law; Criminal Law; Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law; Family Law; Franchise & Distribution Law; Immigration & Nationality Law; Legal Malpractice Law; Taxation Law; and Workers Compensation Law.

Attorneys are certified through a process which includes successful passage of a written examination, completion of specific tasks in the specialty area, attendance at a prescribed number of approved education programs, and peer review.

The Association of European Attorneys (AEA) warmly welcomes Ed Allan Lindain. The Lindain Law Firm, PC's principal attorney, Ed Allan Lindain was the guest of honor at the First Trade Exhibit entitled "The Filipino Diaspora" of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Southern Colorado (PACCSoCo) held at Colorado Springs on August 19, 2023. He was also the speaker at chamber's 2nd Lecture Event on U.S. Immigration held for the J-1 teachers of Colorado Springs on August 20, 2023.
